Jon's Bio: Around the time I was in 8th grade, I began looking at career options...something that didn't require math, and someplace I could wear Levi's to work were the main criteria. The fact that I could listen to music and even get some of it for free was the clincher. After a chance to play radio at Baker University, and a brief stop in Lawrence at KLZR, I made my way to Kansas City when ZZ99 signed on in December of '82 and I've been on the air here ever since.
