In 1987, trumpet prodigy Herb Alpert went into the studio with Janet Jackson's production team, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, to make some funky dance music. Janet herself sang on a few of the songs including the hit, Diamonds. This song, the title track from the resulting album, sounds suspiciously like Janet's song, "What Have You Done For Me Lately?"  --Steve-O
